The easy approach

A rare find in the Smokies: you just drive up and park.

Many mountain rentals come with steep switchbacks and a nerve-racking final mile. Smoky Signature sits on a wide, level lot in Wears Valley, with plenty of room to pull in and unload the car.

  • No cliffside road

The drive in is gravel, with no steep or narrow sections. Easy for first-time visitors and anyone nervous about mountain driving.

  • Room for the whole group

A large, level lot with parking for up to four standard vehicles. (No RVs or trailers.)

  • On the quiet side of the park

Wears Valley sits between the lights of Pigeon Forge and the Peaceful Side of the Smokies, close to the Foothills Parkway and the park.

“A huge plus to get there without navigating steep or winding mountain roads—something we really appreciated especially since it was our first time in the Smokies!”

Evenings at Smoky Signature

When the porch lights come on.

That is the kind of stay we hope for every guest. Here is what recent guests wrote.

Of all the years of coming to Gatlinburg this is by far hands down THE BEST cabin we have stayed in. The host was very responsive and very friendly. Pictures of the cabin don’t do it justice. It is so beautiful. Great kid friendly place, lots of games, private pool, with huge viewing window from the kitchen table/couch & a hot tub. We had a fire every evening and enjoyed the quiet/darkness of the place. The view is one of the best views you get of the mountains. No steep drive ways/ roads leading to the cabin. We can’t wait to come back next to the GSMJI!

****If you are a jeep owner there is a perfect place to store all the doors/tops under a covered porch. ****

What a gem! The pictures truly don't do it justice. 🏔️ We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautiful and honestly even better in person than the pictures. The indoor pool was probably the biggest hit with our son. We especially loved that it’s right on the main level, so we could keep an eye on him and still feel connected to everything going on in the house instead of being tucked away downstairs somewhere. It' a thoughtful layout for families. There were also tons of games that kept our kid busy, and we ended up having a lot of fun playing together as a family too. The mountain views are gorgeous from inside and outside the home, and the whole property feels peaceful, spacious and private. Hot Tub was perfect! A huge plus to get there without navigating steep or winding mountain roads—something we really appreciated especially since it was our first time in the Smokies! The kitchen was extremely well stocked (even had an instant pot!). We only wish we had stayed longer!

Smoky Signature was an incredible place to stay! The mountain views are breathtaking, yet stores are easily nearby—the perfect balance of a mountain escape and everyday convenience. The home felt as luxurious as a five-star hotel while still being warm, cozy and welcoming, and the host’s attention to cleanliness really stood out. We especially loved the indoor pool, and the outdoor hot tub and fireplace made it extra special. Beautiful views, wonderful amenities and the comforts of home, with exceptional value for money. We would love to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable mountain getaway!
